Delectable Holiday Cuisine Across Dallas
We have already provided our readers with a list of pop-up holiday bars located throughout the city, but if you are looking for a holly jolly dining experience, here are seven places sure to keep your days merry and bright.
Hudson House
The Lovers Lane Hudson House location is merrier than ever, adorned with strands of ornaments and holiday glitz. This classic décor pairs well with the restaurant’s navy upholstery and gold accents. Hudson House is an incredible seafood restaurant, and it makes one of the best lobster rolls and Bloody Marys in town.
Mariano’s Hacienda
The father of the frozen of the margarita machine meets Father Christmas at this classic Dallas establishment. Adorned with garland and lights, Mariano’s is the perfect place to sip on a frosty drink all while enjoying the glow of a holiday yule log. I highly recommend ordering the off-menu, VIP Platter to enjoy with a group.
The Zodiac Room
Very few Dallas venues are as iconic as the Zodiac Room at Neiman Marcus during the holidays. Enjoy the glitz and glam of Neiman’s during the holiday season, as well as the buffet at the Zodiac Room. Dallasites have been coming here for generations, and there is a reason why.
Paradiso
Located in the Bishop Arts District, this Italian-style restaurant is saying “Buon Natale!” with its greenery, golden ornaments and lighted stars. If the festive interior isn’t enough, the charming patio offers trees wrapped in lights, sure to give diners a sense of wonder and glee.
Mi Cocina at Klyde Warren Park
This relatively newly-opened restaurant in Klyde Warren Park has decked its halls for all to enjoy this year. The glass-walled Mi Cocina fills diners with the spirit of the season as they enjoy the holiday décor and all the festive lights of Klyde Warren Park.
Restaurant DeGolyer
Very few places in Dallas plan for the holidays as well as the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, and the garden’s Restaurant DeGolyer is certainly no exception. While enjoying the 12 Days of Christmas and the Christmas Village, don’t miss out on a holiday tea or luncheon inside the festive Restaurant DeGolyer.
The Mansion Restaurant at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek
This restaurant is one of the most heart-warming places year-round, but during the holidays, The Mansion Restaurant is elegantly decorated and offers seasonal fare and drink. Pair all of this with the lovely fireplace and staff, and it’s essentially a Nat King Cole song personified. If you are looking for a little more jingle jangle, I’d suggest the Mansion Bar for happy hour before dinner; they have several very affordable drink offerings.
