Sculpture Falls

1710 Camp Craft Road, Austin, Texas

Hidden within the Barton Creek Greenbelt, there is a stunning swimming hole along with small waterfalls and smoothed rocks—ideal for sunbathing or even taking a leap into the great water. Getting to this key oasis requires a bit of a walk. Start by parking your car upon Scottish Woods Trail. Take those Barton Green Greenbelt entry point down, and stroll down the steep, craggy simple steps of The Hill of Living Trail. Keep in mind you’ll also need to walk back up at the end of the day. The road to Sculpture Falls is under 1 . 5 miles—not for the faint of heart or out-of-shape. But if you make it right down to the water you’ll be compensated with a little slice of heaven. 1699 Mt Sharp Road, Wimberley, Texas

Located in the town associated with Wimberley, Jacob’s Well is definitely an artesian spring that produces thousands of gallons of drinking water each day.
